⇔ x² = -2 - 3

c.  2x² - 18 = 0

⇔  x² - 9 = 0                 ( /2 )

⇔ ( x - 3 ) ( x + 3 ) = 0

     x - 3 = 0                        ou                x + 3 = 0

⇔ x = 3                                              ⇔ x = -3

d.  3x² + 1 = 10

⇔ 3x² = 10 - 1
