Pour calculer MN on utilise Pythagore:
MN² = ML² + LN² = 9² + 10² =181
Donc MN = √181 ≈13,5 (au millimètre près)
√181 est la valeur exacte de l'hypothénuse/MN

Exercice2
Pareil:
GE² = GF² + FE²
10² = GF² + 8²
soit GF² = 100 - 64 = 36
donc GF = √36

Exercice3
On suppose BC hypothénuse si ABC est rectangle (c'est le coté le plus grand)
on calcule BC² = 7² = 49
puis AB² + AC² = 4,2² + 5,4² = 46,8
Donc ABC n'est pas rectangle.

Exercice4
On suppose NP l'hypothénuse si MNP est rectangle
on calcule NP² = 8² = 64
puis MN² + MP² = 6,4² + 4,8² = 64
Or NP² = MN² + MP²
Donc MNP triangle rectangle en M
