Two years ago,

I went to sleep in a mysterious cottage with my best friend Jack.  

- You'll see it'll be great fun! he said.

- Yes, I guess so... Let's go.

Jack told me that there was a hot spring where everyone bathes.

- When I was little I swam with my mother the first time, he said.

When we arrived, the cottage had a terrifying atmosphere and all the lights were off. The heating was off too. I sat on the couch snuggled in my plaid.  Jack had brought some wood, but it was left in the car so he went to get it,

- I come back for wood !

He left me alone for a few minutes, but I felt such a terrifying atmosphere that I began to tremble and call out to him. I called him louder :

- Jack ?!

I heard heavy footsteps, heavier than Jack's. The person pushed the door open and behind a flash of lightning appeared, I shouted.

- HELP ! I said

- Hey! Calm down it's me, Jack. Why are you so scared of my cottage?

- I don't like it at all! Let's go home now! I said.

Jack looked sad. The wood fell, and rolled to my feets.

I understood immediately that Jack was not only planning to take me on a trip, but that he was planning to never bring me back.

- It had started well !

He took a knife out of his pocket and approached me. Panicked, I threw my plaid at him and started to run towards the forest. I heard him screaming and chasing me but I didn't stop, I hid behind a tree and took out my phone with trembling hands, I called the police.

- 911 what's your emergency?

- A man is chasing me and trying to kill me!

- Where are you?  

- I don't know...! In the forest ?...

- We are trying to locate your call hold on.

- Well, do you have a place to hide ?

- No, the trees are slippery and high !

- Stay online and try to get closer to a public place.

- He is armed, please help me!

- Our emergency team arrives in 30 min try to hide you for 30 min, please.

The phone hung up due to lack of battery power, fate was against me...

I tried to climb the tree but a hand grabbed my right foot, I struggled, and ran away. I had lost my shoe and my foot was in excruciating pain. He brandished his weapon and I sank into absolute darkness.
